The Neunkirchen interchange near Kirkel links the A6 between Saarbrücken and Mannheim with the A8 between Luxembourg and Pirmasens. Homburg and St. Ingbert lie directly on the A6, Neunkirchen on the A8. Saarbrücken is about 15 minutes away, Kaiserslautern about half an hour and Mannheim just over an hour.
