Urban development contract

An agreement between municipality and investor on planning, infrastructure and follow-on costs.

Under Section 11 of the Building Code, municipalities can agree with investors who bears planning costs, studies, infrastructure, compensation measures or social infrastructure. Design, energy, jobs or traffic measures are often also specified. The obligations must be reasonable and objectively connected to the project.
