Submarket of the logistics region Frankfurt/Rhine-Main

Aschaffenburg / Alzenau

On the Bavarian Lower Main, Aschaffenburg, Alzenau and Großostheim form a sought-after logistics area at the edge of Rhine-Main. The A3 links it with Frankfurt and Würzburg, the A45 with Hanau and the north.

Location and access

The A3 takes you from Aschaffenburg to Frankfurt Airport in about half an hour and on towards Cologne, and east towards Würzburg and Nuremberg. The A45 starts near Aschaffenburg and links the region with Hanau and Gießen. The Main port enables inland waterway traffic.

Space profile

Large distribution centres for retailers and suppliers have been developed around Aschaffenburg, Alzenau and Großostheim, alongside port and industrial land and established business parks.

What occupiers should consider

The Lower Main is an alternative to the Hessian part of Rhine-Main and often offers more space. Bavarian conditions apply for staffing and authorities. The location suits traffic to Franconia and Bavaria.
