GDP and pharmaceutical logistics

Requirements for storing and transporting medicines under the EU Good Distribution Practice guidelines.

Pharmaceutical warehouses must maintain and evidence defined temperature ranges without interruption, usually 15 to 25 °C or 2 to 8 °C. Temperature mapping, calibrated measuring equipment, alarms, backup power, pest control, access control and a documented quality system are required.
